OUTING No 3
OUTING No 2
Gothenburg is the second biggest city in Sweden and it is very populated.
It is situated near the sea. In this city there are a lot of big buildings and shopping centers. There is a big harbour too.
We spent a lot of time in a shopping mall called... (sorry, we don’t remember the name!!!).
We think that Gothenburg is a beautiful city and we hope to go there again soon!
Even if we didn't join our mates ....
Hi guys, we are the ones who stayed in Italy and we have learnt that you love cucumbers, you don't use olive oil, you love ketchup and you often mix salt and sweet food. Your parties aren't as the Italian ones, you organise parties in the forest or in some houses always without drinking alcoholic drinks!!!!

Day 1 - Departure time!
Meeting point: Leno square
We said hello to our schoolmates who had to stay at school ! We left at 11:00 - destination: Orio al Serio airport where we arrived an hour later! We checked in and we had lunch together at Mc Donald's. Than we took the plane: Valentina and some other girls were scared because it was the first time that they had taken the plane.
Unluckily we couldn't sing on the plane so we sang on the coach which took us to Gnosjo.
After five days spent happily together having fun and relaxing we came back to Italy singing all the time but with memorable Swedish moments in our hearts!!! :)
Family life
What an experience!
We couldn't imagine that living in a Swedish family could be so interesting! Every family where we stayed was very quiet, friendly ad nice. They made us feel at home! When we stayed at our friends' home they cared a lot about us and always asked if we needed anything, if we were hungry and things of the kind... there were no problems. If we wanted anything we could ask them as they were always available and very kind. They have very different habits, for example they eat more times a day, and their cuisine is "exotic", but tasty and delicious. The vibe in their houses is calmer than in ours; they are very tidy and what we liked a lot is that we had to take off our shoes before walking into the house! Another thing we noticed is that there are no fences between each other's property.

YOUR SCHOOL ....IS
....NOT LIKE OURS!
GKC is very different from CAPIROLA: we were surprised at the Swedish teaching method. Each student has a laptop given by the school!
During the lessons you can use your laptop of course, mobile phones and listen to music. You can choose what to do but at the end of the year you have to take tough exams and it is very important to pass them to find a good job in the future.
Another difference is that you have a canteen and all the students eat there.
There are facilities to play sport such as a big gym, a swimming- pool, a sauna, a football pitch and a lovely park!
Students have a more relaxed relationship with their teachers who are friendlier than Italian ones.

HERE ARE OUR OUTINGS
No.1 -Storemosse
It’s a big park where you can find different kinds of animals such as moose and cranes.
When you enter the park you are in a wood and you have to follow a path. At the end of it there is a big area which looks like a savannah with little trees. It’s a boggy area so you have to walk on a wooden footway which leads to a little lake.
